White Beer Travels
Discount Beer Guide Offer
www.whitebeertravels.com
The White Beer Travels website is
dedicated to the promotion of Speciality Beer. Belgian
Beer is a particularly well-known example of this,
well over half of the site's multi-page content being
devoted to this. For example, click here
to see the page that covers fellow Belgian Beer Card
participant, De Bierkamer, a
superb Belgian Beer bar, in Kluizen (Ertvelde).
Of course, Belgian Beer Card
participants such as De Bierkamer can provide a discount
on a glass of beer or whatever to holders of the Belgian
Beer Card, something that the White Beer Travels website
cannot do, as it is not a bar!
However, on the Downloads
page of the White Beer Travels website,
there are a number of downloadable guides for sale
covering Belgium : Antwerp (62);
Bruges (52); Brussels (59);
Dinant (11); Ghent (48);
Liège (27); Louvain-la-Neuve (17);
Namur (27); Ostend &
The Belgian Coast (69); and Payottenland
Day Trip (26). The number in brackets
is the number of A4 pages in each of the guides.
Above left is a reduced sized reproduction
of the cover of an example White Beer Travels Guide
(Payottenland Day Trip). On it there
is a photo, by John White, of
Armand Debelder pouring out his world-class Oude Geuze
for a group of White Beer Travels Beer Hunters,
in the 3 Fonteinen, in Beersel; the visit is
fully described in the guide. Above right is a reproduction
of a page from the White Beer Travels Ghent
guide. John White's photo on this page is of Lieven
de Vos enjoying a Helleketelbier by the fire
in 't Velootje, his superb bar.
The guides can be opened/stored/printed
after download using a password, which can be purchased
using the well-know PayPal system. Further details
of all this is given on the White Beer Travels Downloads
page.
For Belgian Beer Card holders,
White Beer Travels is offering a discount
of £1 off each guide costing
over £3, and £0.50 off those costing £3
or less. Note that some of the guides have an associated
A4 Map that can also be downloaded from the Downloads
page, these being free-of-charge. Some
have A3 maps, which are posted to you, the cost
of postage being included in the price.
There is a special payment button
on the Downloads
page for use with this discount offer,
which can be reached by clicking here;
it has the legend "Make a payment to WBT".
Should you want to purchase a guide, just look at
its price in the table of guides on the Downloads
page, subtract the discount and fill the net amount
in the appropriate PayPal box, and enter the name
of the guide(s) purchased, and your address, should
you have purchased a guide that has an A3 map.
I trust that all this makes sense,
but if you have any queries, please do not hesitate
to contact me; my e-mail address and other contact
details can be found on the Contacts
page of the White Beer Travels website.
Regard and Cheers!
John White.
